Browser preferences
You can turn off Essential preferences to clear saved language and theme settings and stop saving them. They still work for the current visit; a reload uses English and your system theme. Privacy choices remain stored to remember your decision. An analytics choice is valid for 180 days.
Optional analytics
Umami analytics runs on the public production site so I can see which pages are useful. It does not depend on the privacy choice below and is never enabled on the preview site. Google Analytics is optional: it loads only if you allow it, and declining again stops it. Before you allow it, no Google Analytics script, request, or cookie is created. This setting records your preference either way. Declining does not limit access, and you can revisit your choice at any time.
Embedded media and external sites
Social posts and videos may connect to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok when loaded. Those providers may use their own cookies or collect device information. The analytics preference here does not control their services.
Newsletter
When you submit the subscription form, this site forwards your email to Grant Dai’s newsletter service. The service’s privacy policy applies. Your email is not saved in this browser’s local storage. This browser does save the subscription’s numeric ID and its pending or confirmed status, so the site can recognize a returning subscription and block repeat submissions. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter to stop delivery.
